Is a vital contributor to an autonomous, crossborder agile squad consisting of business & IT resources as an IT Dev Engineer with a sound background in IBM DataStage 11.x
Can lead a chapter of around 10 fellow engineers gathered around one purpose: Wrangling data to a high quality, reliable and useful source of information for downstream usage, by setting up and applying the most appropriate and available technologies and platforms.
Is keeping at par to what is happening in the world of data management intuitively and able to coach others to do so as well.

… Then you are our new Chapter Lead Data Engineering
We are looking for a talented Engineer in our Analytics area that can help us building the Analytics Data Mart, starting from the analysis of a vast amount of internal and external sources up to the creation, feeding and maintaining of the tables. You will work closely together with your peer DevOps Engineers and Business Analysts using IBM DataStage. This will take approximately 60% of your time.
The other part of your time you dedicate to the development of yourself and your team. As Chapter Lead you hierarchically oversee a chapter of around 10 Engineers, implying the people management. This covers the recruiting of new talents, people administration, personal development and evaluation of your chapter members. You will inspire and encourage your chapter members to develop themselves, providing them coaching on both professionally as well as personally. This part could be part of your personal development as well, if not fully familiar with it at this point in time in your professional career.
Being familiar with IBM Netezza, SAS BASE, SAS Data Integration Studio, and/or PL/SQL are considered an asset, as well as Dutch and French. Proficiency in IBM DataStage and English however is a must. You will need to both work autonomously as well as in a team, resourceful to find creative solutions.
