Within the Finance department at ING Belgium, the External Reporting team is responsible for Financial and Regulatory reports to relevant stakeholders (NBB, ECB, shareholders).
As a (Senior) Data Analyst External Reporting you are responsible to manage big data and able to create smart views on data in order to validate the reports before it is send out to the relevant stakeholders.
Analytical review on and validation of financial and regulatory reports
Works closely together with various departments within the processing chain (Front Office, Back Office /Operations, Finance, Risk Management)
Understands finance process architecture and supporting systems
Participates in strategic, tactical and ad-hoc change projects to set clear requirements on data definitions and implement these together with the rest of the Finance chain
Designs, tests and validates the translation to day-to-day Finance & Control operations;

You are expected to have the following qualifications and competences:
Required level of education : master
Level of years relevant experience : 3 - 7
Good understanding of Financials English : advanced
Verbal and presentation skills: summarize discussed matters clearly and to-the-point
Problem analysis & judgment: place problems in a broader perspective
Customer focus: assume personal responsibility
