Dev Engineer 

Your role & work environment 

  • You are an energetic dev engineer who will be part of a Squad within the Document and Content Services Tribe.
  • You spent the biggest part of your time on the development of our applications using exciting and new technologies.
  • You like to work in Agile and are familiar with the Agile ceremonies.
  • You and your Squad and Chapter colleagues work in an international environment in different multidisciplinary squads, together with business colleagues, Features Engineers, UX designers and OPS engineers.


Your key responsibilities

 Design, build and maintain the frameworks offered by the squad, including

    • Gathering requirements
    • Functional and technical analysis and designs
    • Developing testable and readable code
    • Testing
    • Documenting
  • Be recognized as a competent in your field.
  • Be ready to help the others to succeed.
  • Stay tuned to new trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the platform

As an experienced Dev engineer you will also need :

  • A Bachelor or Master in Information Technology or equivalent in IT, with 2-3 years experience
  • Strong fundamentals in software design and development.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with Java
  • A good knowledge in ELK, Cassandra, Oracle, Springboot, Docker, …
  • Some experience in Agile and Continuous Delivery Practices (Gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible, …)
  • To enjoy creating innovative solutions using the latest technologies
  • To have an excellent written and spoken knowledge of English
    (knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an asset)
