PepsiCo is looking for an independent, enthusiastic and ambitious intern to join the Sales Finance department, for a period of 6 months from August 2021 onward.

As a Sales Finance intern, you will analyze and improve the profitability of the accounts that you're in charge of. You are the link between sales and finance and will analyze the effectiveness and profitability of promotions. Give advice on improving the promotional strategy. You will help the sales team in order to build some business cases and see if business is profitable or not. You will analyze the performance of the accounts based on commercial plans, sales data and historical data, identifying trends, developments and potential risks or opportunities. You should be able to think from the customer's point of view and focus on consumer behavior, to collect and analyze the right information. In addition, you will be responsible for managing and improving a number of reports. There is also scope for own initiatives, with the possibility of taking the lead in several projects. This internship is an ideal opportunity to acquire sales finance experience at a major international company.

In this role, you will work with account managers, finance and demand planners. With your colleagues in the sales finance team, you will work on further developing the financial reporting processes. You will report to the Sales Finance Manager.

To make this role a success, you will need strong communication skills, coupled with sharp analytical ability. This will enable you to interpret numbers correctly and convert them into concrete action plans. In addition, your result is focused, positive and ambitious

Who are we looking for?
You are someone who:

  • is an WO bachelor's or master’s student or graduated (max. 3 months) with an affinity Business Administration or business Economics;
  • has strong analytical skills and can tell the story behind the data;
  • is accurate, analytical and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint;
  • has an assertive attitude, can start own projects - asks many questions, can work independently;
  • is ambitious, focused on results and has enthusiasm and positive attitude;
  • is fluent in English and Dutch or French preferably
