Junior Full-Stack Developer (Analyst Developer)

Overview

We are looking for a Junior Full-Stack Developer to strengthen a Digital Foundations team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable digital solutions. The initial assignment involves developing and maintaining a Data Steward solution connected to authentic data sources, enabling public service agents to efficiently process citizen requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications and digital services.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the Data Steward platform.
• Integrate applications with authentic data sources and external systems.
• Participate in application analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure security, performance, and reliability of developed solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Support continuous improvement and modernization initiatives.

• 1-3 years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Knowledge of Angular, Java, Spring Framework, Node.js, Python, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of relational databases (RDBMS/SGBD).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Exposure to Quarkus is an advantage.
• Experience integrating applications with authentic data sources is a plus.
• Public sector experience is considered an asset.

• French: Native or bilingual proficiency.
• Dutch: Native or bilingual proficiency.
• English: Basic working proficiency.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in secure and privacy-compliant software development.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Eager to learn and develop technical expertise.

• Brussels, Belgium.
• Hybrid working model with a minimum of 2 days per week onsite.
