The impact of the role:

We are partnering with a global leader in the automotive industry to recruit a Human Resources Development (HRD) Specialist. As an Junior HRD Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating Human Resources Development initiatives that support the growth of the organization and its employees. The role oversees key people development and organizational development processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and corporate standards.

On a given day, you will:

  • Manage the performance management cycle, ensuring employees have clear objectives, regular development discussions, and documented performance reviews.
  • Identify, coordinate, and monitor learning and development initiatives aligned with business needs and employee growth opportunities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external training providers to deliver effective development programs and maintain accurate training records.
  • Lead job analysis and position management activities, ensuring accurate job descriptions, organizational structures, and role evaluations.
  • Support organizational effectiveness through job evaluation, career development, succession planning, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Drive the documentation, standardization, continuous improvement, and automation of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop process guidelines, deliver training, ensure compliance, and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Understanding of basic HR processes, including performance management, learning & development, and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Amazing if you have:
  • Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies, particularly IPE frameworks.
  • Experience in HR process automation and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and/or French
